"During the first two weeks of April, BBA hosted a Thai class for the exchange students from all over the world this term. The class was organized by students who were eager to create more opportunities for exchange students to get to know more of the Thai students, the Thai language and the Thai culture. Not only did it covered nearly all survival phrases and useful words for situations, the Language part of the class even included role plays for meeting a person for the first time and a mock negotiation. The Culture part of the class covered the Do’s and Don'ts, customs of Thailand, and special “aspects” of Thai Culture that cannot be found anywhere else.

The Exchange students were even taught the basics of Thai Massage by one of our BBA students and treated to Thai snacks and the famous Grilled and Fried Pork.

Special thanks to:

Ms. Pawaisa Kumsing (P’Paew) for teaching person below how to organize the event
Mr. Soubsakul Chittangsomboon (Villy) for making all of it happen
Mr. Pongsan Ahkuputra (Auu) for leading the class most of the time
Ms. Danittha Limakaraungkul (Pop) for demonstrating the various techniques of Traditional Thai Massage
Ms. Pakkasupang Wongwachirawanich (App) and Ms. Patsachon Kriengwatana (Pat) for demonstrating the various forms of the Thai Waii and the rest of the BBA students who participated.

And of course, the Exchange students themselves who came. Without all of you this wouldn’t have been possible.

Lots of memories were made and we can’t wait until the Thai Class next term.
