On Wednesday, 23 April 2014, Ajarn Yayus Mak’s students in Marketing Strategy 2014 had the opportunity to listen to a special guest lecture by Mr. Bram Clincke, Country Manager of Groupon Thailand.
With his extensive experience in marketing of fast-moving consumer goods on technology platforms, he walked the students through the Groupon’s business model, customer segments, as well as examples on how the company had helped businesses activate their sales and marketing objectives. Through interactive class exercises, students had a chance to learn about the science and art of creating Groupon deals for various types of merchants.

The company aims to create value by providing great experiences to shoppers, while helping merchants better attract, retain, and interact with their customers through its customizable deal campaigns, payment processing capabilities, and point-of-sale solutions.
