It was a great pleasure to have Dawn J. Moyer, a Academic Advisor, from Oregon State University give us considerable amount of information on August 14, 2015. Overall, the presentation about Oregon State University not only revealed the life on campus, but outside of the campus as well. The speaker prepared a concise speech, which would assist us in the near future when we decide our roads to exchange program.  Apparently, there is no word needed to describe Oregon State University academically since it is ranked as one of the top universities in the United States. There are many factors to take into consideration when choosing a university which one will be studying at for a semester. Personally, I feel that location is the most important factor despite education. Oregon State University is located in Corvallis, one of the safest cities, which is situated in the north of California and south of Washington; Oregon also has access to the Pacific Coast. From the speech, exchange students love to go to the beach or drive either north or south to Seattle or California during their weekends. Additionally, best utilities are to be expected. For instance, there are free buses around the places and you are allowed to take your bike on to the bus in case it is raining. A few words from someone who had participated, the presentation was very helpful as it guided us to take a deeper look at one of the best universities in the States.
