On Friday, April 26th, Ajarn Yayus Mak’s students in Current Issues in Marketing 2013 had the pleasure of attending a special guest lecture by Khun Thammasak Jittimaporn, CEO of Green Spot Co., Ltd.
 
Khun Thammasak led the students through Green Spot’s rich corporate history and the brand evolution of Vitamilk over the past 50 years. Using examples from the Company’s current advertising campaigns, the lecture taught the students the importance of a brand blueprint that captures the values of the organization, differentiating characteristics of its product, and the unique message communicated to its target customers.
 
Khun Thammasak also shared how Green Spot has successfully expanded the Vitamilk brand throughout South-East Asia and Africa. Students learned how the Company used a balance of market analysis and understanding of consumer behavior to localize Vitamilk’s promotion and distribution strategies while maintaining consistency to its corporate values and brand blueprint.
 
Founded in 1954, Green Spot’s main mission has been to produce and distribute quality beverages to consumers. Vitamilk was Thailand’s first bottled soymilk and has remained the best-selling soymilk in Thailand ever since.

Current Issue in Finance – Ajarn Alan Kam has Ms. Janice Van Ekeren, Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri) as a guest speaker in his class on September 11th, 2013.
 
Ms. Van Ekeren gave an interesting talk on the transformation of BAY under the management of GE Capital, thGuest Speaker : CEO-Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri)e challenges and the success and the impending shareholding change of the bank. She also talked about the various career opportunities for graduating students at the bank.
 
  

BBA Chula Council has successfully organized the first BBA Chula Camp for high school students on 26-27 January 2013 at Mahitaladhibesra Building. Participants from various schools in Thailand joined the camp and shared their experiences with each other. Both academic and entertaining activities were arranged to make participants know more about BBA program. The students have a chance to study in a simulation class with BBA professors, listen to the experiences from BBA alumni and ask for real experience from current BBA students. "Current Issue in Finance" class led by Ajarn Alan Kam visited the Petchburi factory of Cal-Comp Electronics Thailand Public Company Limited (CCET) on Oct 9th, 2014. CCET is dual listed on the Thai and Taiwan bourse and it is a subsidiary of the New Kinpo Group, the 3rd largest electronic manufacturer globally with annual revenue of US$ 36 billion. The students visited CCET's state of the art factory and learned about the various financial and capital tools the group used to expand its global presence including China, Brazil, Mexico, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and USA.
