Congratulations to the outstanding students of Chulalongkorn Business School for securing the top spot in the Deloitte Thailand Tax Challenge 2024: Business Case Competition!

Hosted by Deloitte Thailand, this competition brought together 15 teams, showcasing exceptional talent. Notably, the First Runner-up title was also claimed by a team from the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University.
 
The winning team has earned the honor of representing Thailand in the upcoming regional competition, the Deloitte Southeast Asia Tax Competition (SEA DTC), to be held in Indonesia. In addition to this prestigious opportunity, they have been awarded a scholarship of 50,000 Baht.

Students from Chulalongkorn University has won the First Place and the Best Speaker award in the English Debate Competitions 2024.
 
The English Debate Competitions 2024, organized by the Lawyer Council of Thailand under the Royal Patronage, took place on February 17-18, 2024. In this competition, students from Chulalongkorn University received the winner award, a plaque of honor, and a cash prize of 30,000 baht. The runner-up award went to a team from Thammasat University.
 
The winning team from Chulalongkorn University includes the following students:
  1. Mr. Aaron Luke Reyes Nuqui, Chulalongkorn Business School, International Program (BBA)
  2. Miss Topaz Phayungtham, Faculty of Law, International Program (LLBel)
  3. Miss Pantari Rattanasampan, Faculty of Political Science, International Program (PGS)
Furthermore, we extend our congratulations to Mr. Aaron Luke Reyes Nuki, a student from the Chulalongkorn Business School (BBA International Program), for receiving the Best Speaker award in this competition.

We're thrilled to announce that our exceptional team of BBA students has secured the 1st runner-up position at the prestigious Heavener International Case Competition (HICC) 2024!
 
Hosted by the University of Florida, USA, from February 11th to 17th, 2024, the HICC is renowned for its rigorous challenges, drawing top-tier university students from across the globe to tackle real-world business problems. This year, 16 teams competed fiercely, delving into two complex cases:
 
1. Software Development Firm's Transition to Consulting Services: Addressing digital technology consultancy for American industries with a focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) alignment.
2. Drinking Water Firm's Implementation of EV Truck for Goods Distribution: Planning EV truck integration for efficient distribution and charging station development in California, supporting the state's ambitious carbon emission reduction goals by 2035. Our team tackled this case, navigating intricate aspects like investment, vehicle procurement, business partnerships, and risk management within a tight 28-hour window.
 
The finalists for the HICC 2024 included Corvinus University, Nanyang Technological University, University of Alberta, and our esteemed institution, Chulalongkorn University, clinching the 1st runner-up title this year!
